Russound® Black Controller Amplifier

Three elegantly designed keypad options are available for control of your home audio. The KP6 includes 20 labels for personalizing source components, and the KPL has an LCD panel that makes enjoying multiroom audio easier. Adjust the bass, treble, and balance from the KP6 and KPL keypads. Combine either with the KPSC keypad for source control with no additional programming required.

Extensive IR device codes and learning capabilities are built into the CAA66, making remote and keypad control of the system as simple as pressing a key. Each zone of the CAA66 supports up to three keypads with the SA-ZX3 Keypad Splitter.

Russound has system kits that include all the necessary components for a CAA66 system. For additional cost savings, the kits include a CAA66 Controller-Amplifier, six keypads (KP6 or KPL), a USRC remote and six IR emitters. For ease of installation, the controller can be rack mounted (with the provided rack ears). Keypads are available in five different colors, and fit perfectly in any Decora® plate.

The Russound D850 digital multi-channel amplifier offers the features custom installation professionals demand while offering a lighter weight, smaller chassis and more efficient Class D power. The feature-rich design of the D850 is ideal for the demands of distributed audio systems and is also compatible with our Russound volume controls. Its 8 channels are arranged in stereo pairs to provide discreet amplification and custom configurations for each of 4 zones.

The D-Series amplifiers all have the same legendary Russound sound quality and installer-friendly features customers have come to expect. Ultra-low distortion output (relatively unheard of in other multi-zone amplifiers) allows for clean, undistorted audio even at high listening volumes. A robust protection circuit provides efficient, safe and reliable operation under extreme conditions and protects each amplifier output channel.

The D-Series amps are even up to the rigorous demands of home theater applications, easily transforming into a powerful 160 watt X 4 channel monster (in bridged mode). You can also choose to individually un-bridge pairs for lower power applications such as Dolby Atmos® or surround speakers. Russound® Two-Channel Dual Source Amplifier

The P75 is a Class A/B amplifier rated at 75 watts per channel into 4 ohms, and 60 watts into 8 ohms. With the Stereo/Bridge Mono switch in Bridge Mono position, both amplifier channels are combined for a higher powered mono output. In Bridge mode the P75 is rated at 160 watts of power into a single 8 ohm load.

The D250LS is perfect for installations that include adding a local source to a multiroom system. The D250LS allows the source (e.g., a PC or TV in the bedroom) to automatically override the audio playing in that particular room of a distributed audio system. When the local source is turned on, the amplifier switches the room speakers to its own output. Russound® Digital Two-Channel TV Amplifier

Its thin footprint means the TVA2.1 can be hidden behind the television or mounted in an in-wall panel behind a television for convenience. The built-in IR learning function eliminates the need for an external control system. Scalable to 48 zones, the MCA-88 provides numerous options to tailor every room in residential or light commercial distributed audio systems. A variety of input options have been engineered into the MCA-88 to connect up to 8 individual sources. AV source input options include up to 8 Analog, with up to 3 Digital (up to 3 coax, or 2 coax and 1 optical), including 1 paging and 1 Bluetooth extender connection. The Bluetooth connection allows the installation of the MCA-88 in an equipment rack while remotely locating the optional Russound BTC-1X Bluetooth receiver up to 300’ away in or near the room where the Bluetooth source will be located. Additionally, the BTC-1X improves audio quality through the high performance aptX audio codec. An RNET link allows for metadata transmission, linking multiple MCA controllers and connection to all Russound RNET Smart Sources like the ST1 AM/FM external tuner.

All MCA products are Ethernet enabled devices allowing for IP based features and control. RIO (Russound I/O) allows Russound IP based control systems to integrate with, control, and communicate bi-directionally through an open protocol. In addition to dedicated keypads and touchscreen control options, the free MyRussound App (iOS and Android) controls all Russound Ethernet connected products on the LAN including the MCA-88 and its source components.

The Bluetooth connection allows the installation of the MCA-66 in an equipment rack while remotely locating the optional Russound BTC-1X Bluetooth receiver up to 300’ away in or near the room where the Bluetooth source will be located. Additionally, the BTC-1X improves audio quality through the high performance aptX audio codec. An RNET link allows for metadata transmission, linking multiple MCA controllers and connection to all Russound RNET Smart Sources like the ST1 AM/FM external tuner.

All MCA products are Ethernet enabled devices allowing for IP based features and control. RIO (Russound I/O) allows Russound IP based control systems to integrate with, control, and communicate bi-directionally through an open protocol. In addition to dedicated keypads and touchscreen control options, the free My Russound App (iOS and Android) controls all Russound Ethernet connected products on the LAN including the MCA-66 and its source components.

The MCA-66 features 6 zones of high quality amplification, providing 20 watts of power per channel. Zones 1 and 2 are equipped with fixed or variable line-level outputs for outboard amplification, wireless expansion or subzone use. Additionally, an RS-232 port for integration with serial-connected home automation systems is available for utilization on the rear panel of the MCA-66.

Custom audio settings, party modes, do not disturb, source and zone linking, and all-on/all-off participation are standard features. The MCA-66 has alarm and sleep timers, a Home Theater trigger and one 12VDC trigger output for power management and control. Source six can serve as a paging input for connection to a 3rd party paging or phone system.

With Russound keypads or touchscreens, the MCA-66 communicates vital information such as preset names, station ID, artist, song titles and album art depending on the capabilities of the source being used. The simpler SLK-1 keypad can also be used for areas where basic control is sufficient such as entry/exit areas of a home or business or any area where the My Russound App might be the predominant control interface.

Note: The MCA-66 is part of the Russound Certified Installer Required Program and can only be installed and configured by a Russound Certified Installer.
